Nicola Wheen holds a BA and an LLM from the University of Otago in Dunedin, and is a senior lecturer in Law at the University of Otago, where she teaches public law, environmental law and international environmental law. Her recent publications include ‘A History of Environmental Law’ in Environmental Histories of New Zealand (T. Brooking and E. Pawson eds, Oxford University Press, Melbourne, 2002). With Janine Hayward, she edited The Waitangi Tribunal (BWB, 2004).
