Max Rashbrooke - Bruce Jesson Memorial Award

We are delighted to announce that Max Rashbrooke has received the Bruce Jesson Memorial Award for his planned book on the growing gap between rich and poor in New Zealand, to be published by BWB. The $4,000 award will help Max research and write the book, provisionally titled Across the Great Divide and set down for publication in early 2013.

Max has recently returned to New Zealand from London, where he worked as a freelance journalist for the Guardian and other publications
