This richly illustrated history of Te Rohe Potae o Te Urewera over a hundred years contextualises Tuhoe’s never-ending quest for authority in their lands. Award-winning author Judith Binney has written another spell-binding history – already greeted with acclaim by the Urewera hapu and readers all over the country. The Carbon Challenge offers a plain language guide to the complex issues of New Zealand's emissions trading scheme. Geoff Bertram and Simon Terry provide a 'forensic assessment' (to quote Professor Michael Grubb, from Cambridge University) of this important initiative.
