Janine Hayward, (Tangata Tiriti) is a professor of politics at Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka —University of Otago. She teaches, researches and publishes widely on New Zealand politics and Treaty politics. She is the lead editor of Government and Politics in Aotearoa New Zealand (Oxford University Press, 2021).
