Kinley Salmon

Kinley Salmon is a New Zealand economist and writer now working for The Economist magazine as a staff writer. Previously, he has worked for the consultancy McKinsey and Company in London on education and economic development, and as an economist in the Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation practice of the World Bank in Washington DC.

Kinley holds degrees from the University of Cambridge and Harvard University and is the author of Jobs, Robots & Us: Why the Future of Work in New Zealand is in Our Hands, about the impact of automation on jobs and our way of life in Aotearoa New Zealand.
