Lucy Mackintosh is Curator of History at Tāmaki Paenga Hira/Auckland War Memorial Museum and has a PhD in history from the University of Auckland. Over the last twenty-five years she has researched and written extensively about history, heritage and material culture in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand and various places around the world.
