Damon Salesa will be giving the 2019 Founder Lecture, organised by The Friends of the Turnbull Library. Damon will be speaking on indigenous Pacific histories in this year of Tuia – Encounters 250.

This commemoration acknowledges 250 years since the arrival of Captain James Cook and Tupaia, and the beginning of sustained onshore meetings between indigenous people and Europeans in New Zealand and the South Pacific.
