Wanaka Arts Festival: Water Crisis

Wanaka Arts Festival: Water Crisis

We’ve got a freshwater crisis on our hands. It appears we can’t have it all – clean water, high volume dairy farming, the 100% Pure brand that drives our tourism industry, along with equitable settlements of Treaty rights.

This Aspiring Conversations session at the 2019 Southern Lakes Festival of Colour brings together three different viewpoints on this difficult issue: leading NZ water scientist Mike Joy, author of Polluted Inheritance and editor of Mountains to Sea, Ngai Tahu kaumatua Sir Tipene O’Regan, and artist, poet and commentator Greg O’Brien.

Tuesday 2 April, 12 pm
Pacific Crystal Palace
71 Ardmore Street, Wanaka
